Hey guys
I often receive questions on how I postprocess my work. That's of course not an easy question - since each photography somehow develops differently while processing. However, don't hesitate to ask - asking questions helps you develop your own skills. And there are a lot of people around who don't mind answering them. I think it's part of my duty as a member of this community, from which I learned lots, to give something back. Therefore, if you ever see something regarding my work you'd like to have explained - ask. I will take the time and try to explain as good as I can. I would really be happy to.
I already have two tutorials/posts online on my blog, one about Before & Afters in general, with a step by step on how I processed one of my pictures (it's already some months old) and a step by step tutorial on how I processed my 'Orchid Lady'.
For those of you who are interested to read it - I will include the links. I would also be happy about feedback - if you learned something knew, or if you'd like to have some things explained in more detail - whatever you can think of. Just shoot

And here are the portraits I whose making I tried to explain:
Hello hello my dears !
How're you doing? I'm busy with work (as always, big surprise) but still I need to communicate a little
I was asked to promote a photography contest by Heavensinyoureyes. It's supposed to reach as many people as possible and I'd like to help her out here. Here is what the contest is about:
You can submit one photograph to one of three categories
Category A: Nature.
Everything related to nature: flowers, land-sky-waterscapes, trees, plants, etc.
Still life pictures are NOT allowed.
Category B: Black and white.
All black and white photographs.
Category C: Architecture, city life, street, urban and rural.
Prizes will be for each category, and each category has 3 winners:
+1st winner: 500 points
+2nd winner: 200 points
+3rd winner: 100 points
and more prizes not shown yet. (As provided by supporters, things like Llamas, features, critiques, faves, ect.)
If you want to see more information about this contest here you have the direct link:

This contest ends May 2nd.
I like photography contests, it's always nice to win some points, the challenge and all the amazing submissions always are worth a look and try.
I was also asked to help judge the finalists, so I'm especially honored and would like everyone of you to participate of course! I hope you do
Do you also know this feeling: You got a heap of photos 'lying' around rotting on your hard drive and you simply can't do anything of them? I had that special problems with the tons of photos I took during my stay in Venezuela in 2012. Back then, i didn't have my DSLR and was shooting with my boyfriends camera, which is nice and good, but still no DSLR... I took loads of pictures and some are actually really nice and beautiful even, though I wasn't that much into photography back then. However, I am going through them and working on them to make them special, beautiful and memorable for me and boyfriend and the future
I was wondering if you are interested in seeing them, because I would consider making a journal 'feature' of them here, because I don't think they should be all singly be uploaded to dA...
But of course I'd like to share them with you, to give you some impressions of a really intersting country. What do you think?
Share your thoughts, I'll keep on workin (at least not for too long today, since it's friday *yay* )
Love xxx, Krissey
Hello hello!
I'm sure most of didn't came around noticing that I got my very first Daily Deviation yesterday
I'm still pretty thrilled. My messages are overflowing, I got some 40+ new followers and everybody has been just awesome.
I just wanted to thank you all for your support. It really really means a lot to me. And thank you also for not noticing/not commenting on my awful typo in the watermark. I just recognized it too late
I want to thank Jules1983 for suggesting my work and Anoya for featuring it. You two not only made my day but grounded my belief, that photography is a medium for me to reach out and touch people. I am forever grateful
You're all just awesome and I'm full of love so please feel loved and hugged and kissed all over and have the most beautiful day!!
Krissey
